چکیده

We report the results from a photometric reverberation mapping campaign carried out with C18 telescope at Wise Observatory 2019 to 2020, targeting active galactic nucleus (AGN) MCG 08-11-011. The monitoring was conducted on daily basis specially designed narrow-band filters, spanning optical near-infrared wavelengths ($\sim4000$ $8000${\AA}) and avoiding prominent broad emission lines. aim measure inter-band continuum time lags, determine size-wavelength relation, estimate host-subtracted AGN luminosity for this system. used point-spread function photometry extract light curves lags using several methods, including interpolated cross-correlation function, z-transformed discrete correlation von Neumann estimator, JAVELIN (in spectroscopic mode), MICA, multivariate function. find wavelength-dependent $\tau(\lambda)$, up $\sim$7 days between multiband of observed are larger than predictions based standard thin-disk theory by factor $\sim3-7$. discern significantly steeper ($\tau \propto \lambda^{4.74}$) relation $\tau \lambda^{4/3}$ expected geometrically thin optically thick accretion disk, which may result contribution diffuse flux. These similar those found previous campaigns.

Advances in Reverberation Mapping

This contribution briefly reviews the reverberation mapping technique which leads to determination of black hole masses. I focus on the emerging relation between the broad-line region size and the active galactic nucleus (AGN) luminosity, and on an overview of recent results of reverberation mapping studies which are starting to cover the full AGN luminosity range. Preliminary results and time ...

X - ray continuum variability of MCG – 6 - 30 - 15

This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the X-ray continuum variability of the bright Seyfert 1 galaxy MCG–6-30-15. The source clearly shows the strong, linear correlation between rms variability amplitude and flux first seen in Galactic X-ray binaries. The high frequency power spectral density (PSD) of MCG–6-30-15 is examined in detail using a Monte Carlo fitting procedure and is fo...

Phytotoxic sesterterpene, 11-epiterpestacin, from Bipolaris sorokiniana NSDR-011.

The structure of siccanol, a phytotoxic sesterterpene of fungal origin, was analyzed after chemical conversion by NMR spectroscopy. Siccanol was found to be an epimer of terpestacin that has been isolated from Arthrinium sp., and was thus renamed 11-epiterpestacin. Its stereochemistry was also identical with that of fusaproliferin, a structurally related mycotoxin from Fusarium proliferatum. Th...
